Antique Wax Dark
Whittle Waxes Antique Wax is a traditional interior timber wax made with pure, natural waxes, specially formulated for the restoration, protection and preservation of precious and antique woodwork. It rejuvenates previously treated timber while nourishing raw timber and helping preserve its natural beauty.
Ideal for antique furniture, carvings and picture frames, Antique Wax can also be used on interior timber including wooden ceilings, wall cladding, beams, railings and cork, as well as stained timber. Its breathable, anti-static formulation helps protect timber against moisture and atmospheric influences while maintaining the natural character and appearance of the wood.
Apply Antique Wax thinly and evenly using a lint-free cloth or soft brush. Once completely dry, the surface can be polished along the grain using a cloth or brush to bring out its natural beauty. Highly absorbent surfaces may benefit from a second treatment. Antique Wax can also help restore the natural colour of timber that has been stripped or treated with spent lye.
