WHAT WE'D LOVE TO SEE
We're looking for real projects showing Evolution Exterior Oil in action.
Before, during and after photos are great – but video footage is even better!
Ideally, we'd love to see:
BEFORE – What your timber looked like before treatment.
DURING – The preparation and application of Evolution Exterior Oil.
AFTER – Your beautiful finished project!
If possible, include a shot showing the Evolution Exterior Oil tin during application.
A few simple tips
Your smartphone is all you need!
For video, please film vertically (portrait format) where possible, with good lighting and a steady hand.
Close-ups of the oil being applied and the timber grain are particularly useful, along with wider shots of the finished project.
Don't worry if you haven't captured every stage. We'd still love to see what you've achieved.

The Whittle Waxes team will select the winning project based on the quality and usefulness of the photographs or footage.
You can enter as many different projects as you like!
THE PRIZE
One lucky winner will receive up to 4 litres of Evolution Exterior Oil for their project's next maintenance coat!
We'll supply the appropriate quantity, up to 4 litres, approximately 10–12 months after entry, when your project may be ready for its next maintenance treatment.
Regular maintenance helps keep your exterior timber looking beautiful and well protected.

By entering, you agree to the Competition Terms & Conditions, including permission for Whittle Waxes to use submitted photographs and videos in its marketing.
Promoter
This competition is promoted by Whittle Waxes, PO Box 455, Queensland, Australia ('the Promoter').
1. Eligibility
The competition is open to Australian residents aged 18 years or older who have used Whittle Waxes Evolution Exterior Oil on an eligible exterior timber project.
Employees of the Promoter and their immediate families are not eligible to enter.
No entry fee applies. Entrants are responsible for any costs associated with purchasing and applying the product or preparing their entry.
2. Competition period
Entries open on Friday 15 October 2026 and close at 11:59 PM Australian Eastern Daylight Time (AEDT) on Monday 30 November 2026.
Entries received after the closing date will not be considered.
3. How to enter
To enter, participants must submit photographs and/or video footage of an exterior timber project treated with Whittle Waxes Evolution Exterior Oil, together with the information requested in the entry instructions above.
Before, during and after photographs or footage are strongly encouraged. Video footage showing product application is particularly welcome.
At least one photograph or video clip clearly identifying the Evolution Exterior Oil product used is preferred.
Entries must be submitted to ian@blueappleprojects.com or through another submission method expressly approved by the Promoter.
Multiple entries are permitted, provided each entry relates to a different eligible project. 4. Judging and winner selection
This is a game of skill. The winner will be selected by the Whittle Waxes team based on the overall quality, clarity, relevance and usefulness of the submitted material.
Judging will consider:
• How clearly the entry demonstrates the use and results of Evolution Exterior Oil.
• The usefulness of before, during and after photographs or footage.
• The quality and suitability of the material for educational and promotional purposes.
• The overall presentation of the project and its relevance to other customers.
Video footage may be given preference where it provides a particularly clear demonstration of product preparation, application or results.
The winner will be selected on 14 December 2026 and contacted by email within 3 business days.
The winner will also be announced on Facebook and Instagram pages.
The Promoter's decision is final, subject to applicable law.
5. Prize
One winning entry will receive a supply of Whittle Waxes Evolution Exterior Oil suitable for one maintenance coat of the winning project, up to a maximum of 4 litres.
The prize will comprise the product colourtone or finish reasonably required for the maintenance of the original project, subject to product availability.
The quantity will be determined by the Promoter in consultation with the winner, taking into account the project area, product coverage recommendations and maintenance requirements.
The maximum prize quantity is 4 litres. The prize is not redeemable for cash and cannot be exchanged for other products, except where required by law.
6. Prize fulfilment
The prize is intended for the winning project's next maintenance coat and will ordinarily be supplied approximately 10–12 months after the entry date.
The Promoter will contact the winner to confirm the appropriate product and quantity before dispatch.
Delivery will be to an Australian address nominated by the winner, at the Promoter's expense.
If circumstances require a different delivery arrangement, this will be agreed with the winner.
7. Ownership and permission to use submitted material
By entering, participants confirm that:
• They own the photographs and video footage submitted, or have obtained all necessary permissions to submit them.
• They have permission from the project owner, where applicable, to photograph and share the project.
• Any identifiable people appearing in the material have consented to its submission and promotional use.
• Their entry does not infringe another person's copyright, privacy or other rights.
Entrants retain ownership of their original photographs and videos.
By submitting an entry, participants grant Whittle Waxes Australia a non-exclusive, royalty-free permission to reproduce, edit, crop, adapt, publish and share the submitted material for promotional, marketing and educational purposes, including on its website, social media channels, newsletters, advertisements and other marketing materials.
This permission applies whether or not the entry wins the competition.
Whittle Waxes may acknowledge the entrant or their business when publishing material, where appropriate.
8. Publication of entries
The Promoter may feature selected entries during or after the competition.
Being featured in Whittle Waxes marketing or social media does not necessarily mean an entry has won the competition.
The Promoter is not obliged to publish every entry received.
9. Product application and safety
Entrants should follow the relevant Whittle Waxes product instructions and safety recommendations when preparing timber and applying Evolution Exterior Oil.
Participants are responsible for ensuring that any photographs or videos are taken safely and without creating hazards.
The Promoter does not accept responsibility for improper product application or unsafe filming practices, except to the extent that liability cannot lawfully be excluded.
10. Privacy
Personal information collected in connection with the competition will be used to administer entries, contact participants, select and notify the winner, arrange prize delivery and manage permitted promotional use of submitted material.
Personal information will be handled in accordance with the Promoter's Privacy Policy.
Entering the competition does not automatically subscribe participants to marketing emails.
11. General conditions
The Promoter may reject entries that are incomplete, misleading, inappropriate, unlawful or that do not comply with these terms.
The Promoter may verify the authenticity of entries and request further information where reasonably necessary.
If circumstances beyond the Promoter's reasonable control prevent the competition from proceeding as planned, the Promoter may make reasonable changes, subject to applicable law and any necessary regulatory approvals.
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under Australian consumer law.
