Bangkirai Exterior Oil

Natural wood care for exterior timber comprising tough, weatherable oils and micro-fine pigments which effectively block UV rays and protect wood from decay.

Designed exclusively to extend the life of Jarrah, Meranti and Merbau exterior timbers.

Areas of use: Professional abrasion resistant care for the protection of your quality
timber in the garden, e.g. decking, carports, garden furniture, screens, etc.
Safe: Contains no toxic substances, safe for the environment, odourless after drying.
Preparation: Remove any contamination algae, grease, and dirt using Whittle Waxes
Preparation Cleaner. It is not necessary to sand off greyed wood beforehand. Surface
must be clean, free of dust and dry. Sand unstable surfaces!
Application: Shake well or stir before each coat. Application temperature (including
drying) from +8°C. Wood moisture content <18%. Apply Bangkirai Oil to the smooth,
untreated timber using a brush or roller. Apply two to three coats, the timber will be
weather resistant.
Trial coats are essential.
Coverage Rate: 1 litre for approx. 20 m2
Coats needed: 2-3 coats.
Drying time: 12 hours between each coat.
Recommended Tools: Stirring stick, brush or micro-fibre roller, paint tray, and bucket
Clean tools and brushes: with Whittle Waxes Special Thinner, do not allow to dry on.
Storage: Cool and frost-free, seal tin tightly after use.
