Care, Cleaning & Maintenance
By keeping the floor clean with daily sweeping and weekly vacuuming you will reduce the damage to the floor enormously. It is the grit which is walked in on shoes, children and pets which is the downfall of any floor coating, remove it and you reduce the scratches. Mats at all the entrances will help in keeping the dirt out, service your mats, give them a good shake every now and then, this will maintain their efficiency.

Furniture is the main culprit in floor damage, either through inadequate protectors fitted to the legs or large items getting dragged across the floor i.e. Piano, fridge, dish washer etc. If you need to move a piece of furniture that you are unable to lift, place a blanket on the floor, lay a piece of plywood on the blanket, place the item of furniture on the plywood, Now drag the plywood over the blanket, leaving the blanket stationary on the floor.
